What we do
One problem, several different routes.
Recovering an old holding is rarely one process. Which route applies depends on what happened — a death in the family, a lost certificate, a name that no longer matches, or simply years of silence. If you are not sure which describes you, that is normal, and working it out is the first thing we do.
Shares, dividends and IEPF
The core of what we do, and where most cases start.
Unclaimed Shares Recovery
Shares bought years ago that nobody has heard about since — no statements, no dividends, and often no paperwork left at home.
Read moreIEPF Recovery
Where dividends went unclaimed for long enough, the shares are moved to a government fund. They are not lost — the claim simply goes somewhere else.
Read moreUnclaimed Dividends
Dividends that were declared but never reached you — usually because a bank account closed, or an address changed and nobody updated the register.
Read morePhysical Shares to Demat
Paper certificates cannot be sold or transferred as they are. They have to be converted into electronic form first.
Read moreDuplicate Share Certificates
Certificates that were lost, damaged in storage, or destroyed. A missing certificate is a step in the process, not the end of the claim.
Read moreTransmission of Shares
Moving a holding into the names of the family after a shareholder has died. The most common reason people reach us, and the most document-heavy.
Read moreLost or Untraced Investments
You suspect something exists but have nothing concrete — an old company name, a vague memory, a reference in a relative’s papers.
Read moreNRI and Overseas Recovery
Claiming from outside India, where documents have to be attested abroad and parts of the process run differently.
Read moreOther unclaimed assets
Money held somewhere other than a share register. Same approach, different institutions.
Unclaimed Bank Deposits
Fixed deposits and savings accounts that stopped being used and were eventually classed as inoperative.
Read moreUnclaimed Insurance Amounts
Matured policies and proceeds that were never collected — often because the family did not know the policy existed.
Read moreUnclaimed Mutual Fund Units
Folios that were opened and then forgotten, or that the family only discovered later.
Read moreWe do not handle provident funds (EPF, PPF or GPF), gratuity, or unclaimed tax refunds. If that is what you are looking for, we would rather say so now than take your details.
Not sure which one applies to you?
Most people aren’t, and it is not something you should have to work out on your own. Tell us what you know — even if it is only a company name in an old file — and we will tell you which route this is.
